Fit out Project Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings, specifications, BOQ, scope of work and contract requirements before starting site activities.
• Expertise in F&B , Restaurants and UAE Commercial Fit out projects mandatory
• Study architectural, interior, MEP, structural and specialist drawings and identify discrepancies or coordination issues.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, designers, mall/landlord teams and relevant authorities for approvals.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements and project standards.
• Plan daily and weekly site activities according to the approved project programme.
• Prepare look-ahead programmes and identify activities affecting the critical path.
• Monitor project progress and highlight potential delays to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate civil, architectural and interior works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, glazing, stone, metal works and other finishes.
• Coordinate MEP works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, firefighting and ELV installations with architectural finishes.
• Identify clashes between architectural and MEP services before execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and site supervisors to ensure timely execution.
• Monitor manpower and subcontractor productivity.
• Raise material requests and coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials.
• Verify that delivered materials comply with approved material submittals.
• Monitor long-lead materials such as joinery, lighting, sanitary ware, HVAC equipment, glass, stone and specialist finishes.
• UAE driving license preferred
• Immediate Joiners required

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
