Job description

We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Specialist & Key User to support our product organisation in Dubai.

The role is ideal for someone who combines a genuine understanding of product development with strong systems, data and organisational skills. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate product information throughout the product lifecycle and will become the key user and internal reference point for the company's PLM system.

The ideal candidate is highly methodical, comfortable working with large amounts of product data, and naturally focused on accuracy, structure and continuous improvement.

Experience with Centric PLM is highly desirable, although candidates with strong experience using other PLM systems may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Product Data Entry & Maintenance

  • Create and maintain product records within the PLM system, including styles, technical specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), materials, components, colourways and sizing.
  • Maintain accurate collection, season and product/drop structures.
  • Ensure product information is entered accurately and on time in line with the product development calendar.
  • Maintain reference libraries covering materials, colours, suppliers and seasons.
  • Ensure product data remains complete, consistent and up to date throughout the product lifecycle.

PLM Key User & User Support

  • Act as the key user / super-user of the PLM system for the product organisation.
  • Provide first-line support, guidance and training to users across product, design, development and merchandising teams.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, templates and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Gather feedback and user requirements and translate them into practical system and process improvements.
  • Promote consistent and effective use of the PLM system across teams.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Take ownership of data integrity, completeness and consistency within the PLM system.
  • Establish and maintain naming conventions, mandatory fields and validation rules.
  • Conduct regular data audits and clean-ups.
  • Identify recurring data issues and implement solutions that address the root cause.
  • Ensure speed of data entry never comes at the expense of accuracy.

System Administration & Continuous Improvement

  • Support PLM configuration, including attributes, workflows and permissions, in coordination with IT.
  • Liaise with the PLM vendor or implementation partner regarding enhancements, system releases and issue resolution.
  • Support data flows and integrations between the PLM system and other business systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product processes, data quality, system adoption and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the product organisation.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with a PLM system , ideally within fashion, apparel, footwear, sportswear or retail.
  • Experience with Centric PLM / Centric Software is highly desirable.
  • Experience with alternative PLM systems such as FlexPLM, WFX, Lectra, Gerber or similar will also be considered.
  • Good understanding of the product creation process, including:
  • Tech packs / technical specifications
  • Bills of materials (BOM)
  • Materials and components
  • Product styles and SKUs
  • Colourways and sizing
  • Collections and seasons
  • Previous experience as a PLM key user, super-user or administrator is a strong advantage.
  • Experience supporting or training users is preferred.
  • Strong data management and data-quality skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working across product, design, development, merchandising, procurement and IT teams.
  • Clear communicator who is patient and service-oriented when supporting users.
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Fluent English is required, French would be an advantage.
