Hire engineers who are ready to relocate
Employer access is not open yet. This page is how you get told when it is - and what you tell us decides what we build first.
What Qarera is
Qarera is a free CV builder and job search used mostly by software and data professionals applying across borders - largely from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Kenya, targeting the Gulf, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Singapore, the UK and remote roles with international employers.
What makes the pool unusual is not its size. It is that candidates here state where they want to work and when they can start, and that they build their CV at the moment they begin applying rather than maintaining a profile for years. Most CVs on the platform at any given time were created in the previous month, and about six in ten candidates who give a timeline say they can start immediately.
Where we are genuinely the best option
You sponsor visas and cannot find people who will actually move
Relocation intent is the expensive thing to source for. Most databases tell you what someone has done; these candidates have named the countries they are targeting and how soon they can start, because they needed to in order to get useful job matches. That turns the hardest question in cross-border hiring into a field rather than a guess.
You hire engineers into the Gulf, Germany or Ireland from South Asia
This is the corridor the product was built around and where the pool is deepest. CV formats, salary expectations and visa-status fields are already correct for those routes, because candidates built them here for exactly that purpose.
You want candidates who are in market now
Most CVs here were built in the last month by someone actively applying. That is a materially different signal from a profile last touched two years ago, and it is the one thing a larger, older database cannot buy back.
You hire remote and want people set up for it
Remote is one of the two largest targets on the platform - candidates writing for international employers on purpose, with salary converted, university context explained and the CV already in a Western format.
Where we are not
Worth knowing now rather than after a call:
- ·You want to buy a CV database. We do not sell candidate data, in any form, including anonymised.
- ·You want to contact candidates who have not agreed to be contacted. Opt-in is off by default and we will not nudge anyone into it.
- ·You are hiring senior US-domestic roles. The pool skews early to mid career and heavily outside the US.
- ·You need volume non-technical hiring. There is some, but software and data dominate.
Questions employers ask
Who are the candidates on Qarera?+
Mostly software and data professionals - backend, frontend and full-stack engineers, data analysts, data scientists, DevOps and SRE - at early to mid career. The largest group is based in India, with meaningful numbers across Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Kenya. Common skills on CVs built here are Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, React, Node.js, AWS, Docker and PostgreSQL. There is some non-technical hiring - business and finance analysts, civil engineers, administrative roles - but engineering is the overwhelming majority.
Which countries are Qarera candidates targeting?+
India domestically, and remote roles with international employers, are the two largest targets. Beyond those, the strongest corridors are Germany, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, Australia and New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, Singapore and the UK. Candidates name specific cities and countries rather than a general willingness to move, across several hundred distinct locations.
How is this different from a CV database?+
Two ways. First, freshness: most CVs on Qarera are built within weeks of the candidate starting to apply, because people build a CV when they begin a job search rather than maintaining a profile indefinitely. The majority of CVs on the platform at any time were created in the previous month. Second, stated intent: candidates tell us which countries they are targeting and how soon they can start, because they need that for job matching. About six in ten of those who give a timeline say they can start immediately. A CV database tells you what someone has done; this tells you where they want to go and when.
Can I buy candidate data from Qarera?+
No. Qarera does not sell resume or candidate data in any form, including anonymised or aggregated into a sellable list. Employers can only contact a candidate who has actively opted in to being contacted, and that setting is off by default with no prompt to switch it on. These are published commitments in our trust charter rather than current policy, which means they are not going to change when a large enough offer arrives.
Is Qarera free for job seekers?+
Yes, and it is intended to stay that way. There is no paywall, subscription or credit system for candidates. Qarera earns from employers, partners and aggregate labour-market data, never from the person looking for work.
When does employer access open?+
It is not open yet. The waitlist on this page is how we decide what to build first and who to tell when it launches. Joining sends one email when there is something real to use - there is no drip sequence.

How we make money, and the things we have committed never to do, are written down in our trust charter. Job seekers use Qarera free, and that is not a launch promise. Pool description current as of August 2026.
