Job Title: Service Head – Air Compressor DivisionKey Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Air Compressor Service Department, including field service engineers and workshop technicians.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency service activities.
Ensure timely execution of compressor, air dryer, vacuum pump, and compressed air piping projects.
Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls, including compressor screw element servicing.
Develop service strategies to improve customer satisfaction, response time, and equipment reliability.
Monitor service KPIs, team productivity, and profitability.
Prepare service quotations, maintenance contracts (AMC), and technical proposals.
Coordinate with the sales team to identify service and spare parts opportunities.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and company procedures.
Conduct technical training and performance evaluations for the service team.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while resolving escalated technical issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in industrial air compressor service, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong hands-on knowledge of rotary screw compressors, screw element overhaul, air dryers, vacuum pumps, and compressed air piping systems.
Experience in managing field service operations, workshop activities, and service teams.
Excellent troubleshooting, planning and leadership skills.
Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple service projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with brands such as Chicago Pneumatic, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Kaeser, CompAir, Gardner Denver, or equivalent.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, AMCs and service business development.
Experience in ERP systems and service reporting.
