Civil Site Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Salary Range : 2000-3000 AED

Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, designing, developing, and supervising construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with codes
• Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety of construction works
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineers
• Estimate quantities of materials, labor, and costs (BOQ preparation)
• Ensure work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Manage project timelines and resolve on-site technical issues
• Conduct soil testing, surveying, and site analysis where applicable
• Prepare progress reports, site documentation, and as-built drawings
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities for approvals
• Supervise and guide site engineers, foremen, and labor teams
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
• Handle procurement coordination and material inspection

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and structural systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Project management and coordination skills
• Good communication skills (client-facing and team management)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.)
• years of relevant experience in construction/site execution
• Knowledge of local regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc., if UAE-based)
• Valid driving license (often preferred for site roles)

Preferred:

• Experience with villa/residential landscaping or outdoor works (if relevant to your context)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
