SDE Intern- Arabic Speaker

The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineering Intern to join

our team and gain practical experience contributing to the development of our core

software platforms. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn about the entire

software development lifecycle—from coding and testing to deployment and

maintenance—supporting our high-performance applications in front of our key

client base across the UAE and the GCC region. You will work closely with senior

engineers, focusing on Full-Stack development (Node/React) in a cloud-based

environment, translating technical tasks into real-world solutions. This is a chance to

build a strong foundation in enterprise-grade software architecture, aligning your

learning with our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Technical Support

● Assist in coding, testing, and debugging new features for existing software

services, focusing on improving performance, security, and user experience.

● Contribute to maintaining code quality and consistency within our development

environment.

● Learn and apply modern software architectures and design patterns under

guidance.

● Document development processes and system changes for knowledge sharing.

Operational Learning

● Support the day-to-day deployment and maintenance of software applications,

helping to ensure system uptime and performance.

● Assist senior developers in tasks related to cloud-based architecture and

application management (AWS preferred).

● Participate in code reviews and learn about CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

frameworks.

Collaboration & Communication

● Shadow and support senior engineers in communicating project status and

technical details to the team.

● Assist in gathering basic requirements by partnering with internal department

heads to understand their functional needs.

The Ideal Candidate

Required Qualifications & Experience:

● Experience: 0 years required. Demonstrated interest and passion for software

engineering through academic coursework, personal projects, or hackathons.

● Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's

degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

● Linguistic Requirement: Must be a native Arabic speaker with strong verbal

communication skills and a good capability in English.

● Technical Familiarity:

○ Basic knowledge or coursework in Full-Stack development, preferably with

exposure to technologies like Node.js or React.

○ Understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data

structures.

○ Willingness to learn about building and maintaining APIs (RESTful APIs).

● Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, high attention to detail, and a

proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and learning.

Preferred Skills

● Coursework or project experience with SQL and NoSQL database concepts.

● Familiarity with collaborative development tools like Git.

● Interest in AI-driven code development.
