About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer or Mechanical (MEP) Engineer to join our team as a Building Engineer / Site Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising building maintenance activities, overseeing civil and MEP works, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring that all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day building maintenance, repair, and renovation activities.
• Oversee civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works at site.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and facility management teams.
• Monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE regulations.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Identify defects, recommend corrective actions, and verify rectification works.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, maintenance records, and progress updates.
• Review contractor work, material quality, and workmanship.
• Assist in planning preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support whenever required.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all maintenance and project activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (MEP), or equivalent (B.E., B.Tech, or recognized equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE in building supervision, maintenance, or construction.
• Good understanding of civil works, building systems, and MEP services.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Candidate:

• Experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use building maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and maintenance activities simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
