Treasury Analyst- Contractual

Role Purpose

Support the Treasury function in the execution of trade finance administration, dealer receivables control, and month-end treasury reporting across GCC and Near East operations. The role requires a hands-on operational capacity across the SBLC and LC lifecycle, the dealer AR portfolio, and recurring reporting cycles.

Key ResponsibilitiesSBLC & LC Lifecycle Administration (Primary Focus)

• Administer the end-to-end lifecycle of the regional SBLC portfolio and Letters of Credit (LCs), including issuance requests, amendments, extensions, drawdowns, and expiries, in coordination with Group Trade Finance.
• Maintain the dealer trade finance register, tracking instrument validity, issuing bank ratings, tenor, and exposure against approved limits.
• Prepare and review trade finance documentation in line with our client's treasury requirements.
• Monitor upcoming expiries and renewal timelines, proactively coordinating renewals with dealers to avoid coverage gaps.
• Liaise with banking partners on trade finance operations under the guidance of the Treasury Manager.
• Maintain a complete audit trail of all trade finance instruments, amendments, and supporting dealer documentation.

Accounts Receivable Management & Follow-Up (Primary Focus)

• Manage day-to-day dealer Accounts Receivable (AR) monitoring across the GCC and Near East dealer network, including account statements, ageing, and overdue balances.
• Lead routine collection follow-ups with dealers and escalate significant overdue exposures to the Treasury Manager and Commercial teams.
• Coordinate the financial release of vehicles and spare parts in accordance with approved credit terms and available trade finance coverage.
• Reconcile dealer accounts in SAP, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Partner with Commercial teams on dealer payments, credit terms, and cash flow expectations.
• Support DSO monitoring and identify early warning signs of dealer financial risk.

Month-End Reporting (Primary Focus)

• Assist in the preparation of monthly treasury reports for Regional and Group Treasury in line with reporting deadlines.
• Prepare month-end trade finance exposure reports, dealer AR ageing reports, and instrument coverage analysis.
• Support quarterly and year-end reporting, including audit schedules and group reporting requirements.
• Maintain reporting documentation, version control, and variance commentary.

Controls, Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Support internal and external audit requests and maintain appropriate control documentation for trade finance, AR, and treasury reporting processes.
• Maintain SAP master data related to Accounts Receivable, trade finance, and treasury reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve trade finance tracking, AR reconciliation, and reporting processes.

Candidate ProfileMust Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Treasury, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in a finance function with demonstrable Accounts Receivable exposure, preferably within the automotive, distribution, FMCG, or another B2B dealer environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP (FI/AR modules).
• Strong attention to detail with a controls-oriented mindset and the ability to manage deadlines during month-end close.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with banks, dealers, and internal stakeholders.

Preferred

• Exposure to trade finance documentation, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), and bank guarantees.
• Experience in credit control and dealer receivables management.
• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CMA, or CA) or an interest in pursuing a treasury qualification such as ACT's Certificate in Treasury (CertT).

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
