Quantity Surveyor (QS) – MEP

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for MEP works in high-rise building projects
• Handle cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications
• Perform quantity take-off (QTO) from design and shop drawings
• Support in variation orders, change management, and claims preparation
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and project managers for cost-related matters
• Conduct subcontractor evaluation, payment certification, and interim valuations
• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Assist in procurement with material cost comparison and analysis
• Maintain proper documentation of all cost and quantity records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 4–8 years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying within high-rise construction projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
• Experience working in GCC projects preferred
