Job Summary

A Travel Agent assists clients in planning, booking, and managing travel arrangements for business or leisure trips. They provide expert advice on destinations, transportation, accommodations, travel insurance, and tour packages while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
  • Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, and travel packages.
  • Book flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and transportation.
  • Prepare travel itineraries and provide travel-related information.
  • Assist clients with visas, passports, travel insurance, and other documentation.
  • Handle booking changes, cancellations, and customer inquiries.
  • Stay updated on travel regulations, airline policies, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in travel, tourism, or customer service is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of travel booking systems and reservation software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve travel-related issues efficiently.
