Network Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE-Onsite

Experience: 5–8 Years

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Work Mode: WFO (5 Days/Week)

Key Skills Required

• Strong experience in Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS)

• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies

• Experience with Firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and network security

• Good knowledge of AWS networking services such as Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPC, Security Groups, and ALB

• Experience with Load Balancers (F5, NetScaler, ALB)

• Knowledge of Wireless technologies (Cisco/Aruba)

• Network monitoring using tools like SolarWinds, Dynatrace, SNMP, or NetFlow

• Basic scripting/automation using Python or Ansible

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

• Experience in network documentation, SOP creation, and incident management

Preferred Skills

• CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, or similar certifications

• Experience in Data Center Networking

• Exposure to SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust technologies

• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot network incidents and provide L2 support.

• Configure and maintain routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and cloud networking solutions.

• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.

• Support network-related projects, upgrades, and migrations.

• Maintain technical documentation and compliance standards.

• Ensure network security best practices are followed.
