Job Summary

An Electrical Foreman supervises and coordinates electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction or industrial projects. Responsible for leading electricians and helpers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide electricians, technicians, and helpers on daily electrical activities.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
• Plan and assign work tasks to crew members.
• Monitor installation of electrical systems, wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on-site.
• Track materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain work records.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are completed within schedule and budget requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Basic leadership and team management skills.
• Good problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and measuring instruments.
