Ducting Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise and lead ducting technicians, fabricators, insulators, and helpers on site.
• Execute HVAC duct installation works as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate daily activities and allocate manpower effectively to achieve project targets.
• Monitor installation of GI ducts, fire-rated ducts, kitchen exhaust ducts, fresh air ducts, smoke extraction systems, and associated accessories.
• Ensure proper installation of dampers, VAV boxes, access doors, flexible connections, and duct supports.

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with HVAC Engineers, MEP Engineers, and other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
• Review drawings and identify site constraints before commencement of work.
• Assist in planning manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for smooth execution of work.

Quality Control

• Ensure all ducting works comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and relevant standards.
• Conduct inspections of completed works before consultant/client inspections.
• Monitor duct leakage testing, balancing preparations, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper installation of duct insulation and acoustic treatment where required.

Safety Responsibilities

• Ensure all workers comply with project HSE requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safe working practices.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to permit-to-work systems.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.

Material & Resource Management

• Verify material deliveries and ensure proper storage on site.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Maintain records of manpower, progress, and material utilization.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement for timely material availability.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track daily work progress against project schedules.
• Prepare daily manpower and progress reports.
• Highlight delays, technical issues, and resource requirements to management.
• Assist in achieving project milestones within agreed timelines.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
