HSE Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesHSE Policy & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures across all projects.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
• Regularly update safety policies in line with legal and industry changes.

Risk Assessment & Safety Audits

• Conduct routine site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and implement effective control measures.
• Document findings and ensure timely corrective actions are followed.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Deliver training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Ensure all workers are aware of safety procedures and emergency protocols.

Incident Investigation

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis.
• Recommend preventive and corrective actions to avoid recurrence.

Environmental Management

• Promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices across sites.
• Ensure proper waste management and disposal procedures are followed.
• Monitor compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
• Conduct emergency drills and preparedness training.
• Coordinate with emergency services when required.

Health & Well-being

• Promote employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Identify occupational health risks and implement preventive measures.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with latest HSE standards and best practices.
• Improve HSE systems and processes continuously.
• Participate in internal HSE meetings and safety programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in UAE, preferably in landscaping or construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry standards.
• Experience in landscaping and commercial projects preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Proficiency in HSE systems and reporting tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must have UAE driving license and own car.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
