Joinery Draftsman

The Joinery Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for custom woodwork and joinery works such as doors, cabinets, wardrobes, and furniture based on project requirements. They work closely with design, production, and site teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed joinery/shop drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Review architectural drawings and convert them into joinery production drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, and production team for required information.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and follow project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on comments or changes from consultants or clients.
• Create cutting lists and material take-offs as needed.
• Maintain drawing files and documentation properly.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in joinery or woodworking drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, construction methods, and detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
