Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, plans, and layouts.
• Develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Interpret engineering and architectural designs and convert them into technical drawings.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control systems.
• Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and consultants regarding drawing requirements.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and project conditions.
• Prepare material take-offs and drawing schedules as needed.
• Archive and manage project documentation and drawing revisions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, MEP, steel fabrication, or architectural projects is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, SolidWorks, or other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and engineering standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
