Job description

At SLS The Red Sea, every detail matters — including how our team looks and feels. As a Uniform Attendant, you will help ensure our team members are always ready to represent SLS at their best by keeping uniforms organized, well-presented, and available when needed.

Working closely with Laundry and Housekeeping, you will manage the daily distribution, collection, organization, and care of team member uniforms while maintaining accurate records and a smooth uniform operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute clean and well-presented uniforms to team members.

  • Receive, sort, and inspect used uniforms before processing.

  • Prepare, label, assign, and issue uniforms for new team members.

  • Support uniform fittings, exchanges, and replacement requests.

  • Maintain accurate records of uniform issuance, returns, and assignments.

  • Organize uniforms by department, team member, and identification number.

  • Monitor uniform inventory and report shortages, damages, or replacement requirements.

  • Coordinate uniform cleaning, pressing, repairs, and alterations as required.

  • Support regular uniform inventory counts and maintain appropriate stock levels.

  • Assist team members professionally with uniform-related requests.

  • Maintain the uniform room in a clean, organized, and safe condition.

  • Coordinate closely with Laundry and Housekeeping to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Previous experience in a uniform room, laundry, housekeeping, or similar hospitality role is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of garment care and uniform handling is an advantage.

  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Basic understanding of inventory and stock control.

  • Good communication skills and basic English proficiency.

  • Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
