Safety Agent

• Monitor the hotel premises and ensure compliance with established safety and security procedures.

• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, back-of-house areas, equipment, and facilities to identify potential safety hazards.

• Report and follow up on unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, and potential risks.

• Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, fire alarms, and other safety-related situations.

• Assist in implementing and maintaining emergency response and evacuation procedures.

• Ensure that fire safety equipment, emergency exits, alarms, and safety signage are accessible and in proper working condition.

• Support regular fire drills, emergency exercises, and safety training for employees.

• Maintain accurate records and reports related to incidents, inspections, and safety observations.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Security, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments to address safety concerns.

• Promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards among employees.

• Ensure that employees follow proper safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.

• Assist in investigating accidents and incidents and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.

• Support compliance with local health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by the Safety Manager or management.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant safety certification is an advantage.

• Previous experience in a safety, security, hospitality, or related operational role.

• Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and emergency procedures.

• Basic knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and risk assessment.

• Good observation and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during emergencies.

• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

• Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
