Senior Mechanical Engineer

GEO Global Engineering Consultants is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading mechanical engineering design activities, coordinating multidisciplinary requirements, reviewing technical deliverables, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: · Lead mechanical engineering design and consultancy activities for various projects.

· Develop and review HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.

· Prepare and review mechanical calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and technical documents.

· Lead multidisciplinary coordination with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and other engineering disciplines.

· Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.

· Ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and authority regulations.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical engineers.

· Attend client, contractor, and coordination meetings and provide technical input.

· Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to site-related mechanical issues when required.

· Monitor design deliverables, quality, and project schedules.

· Support project managers and the wider engineering team in resolving technical and coordination issues.

Requirements: · Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering design and consultancy.

· Strong experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Mechanical Systems.

· Previous experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.

· Good knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant international standards.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

· Strong multidisciplinary coordination and technical review capabilities.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience in consultancy and large-scale projects is preferred.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple project requirements effectively.
