Job description
Specialist Orthodontist/GP Dentist with Masters In Orthodontics and DHA license/Eligibility Letter.
Compensation: Competitive monthly salary + commission/incentive structure based on revenue generation
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Orthodontist to join our established dental clinic in Dubai. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical expertise in comprehensive orthodontic treatment, clear aligner therapy, and modern digital orthodontics, along with excellent patient communication and treatment-planning skills.
Job Requirements
- Valid DHA Specialist Orthodontist/GP dentist License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
- Master’s Degree / Postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably with experience practicing in the UAE.
- Strong experience in diagnosis, treatment planning and management of children, adolescents and adult orthodontic patients.
- Proficiency in fixed orthodontic treatment, including conventional and aesthetic braces.
- Good experience with clear aligner therapy, with Invisalign certification or equivalent clear-aligner experience preferred.
- Experience in digital orthodontic workflows, including intraoral scanning, digital treatment planning and progress monitoring.
- Ability to independently diagnose and manage a wide range of malocclusions and orthodontic cases, including comprehensive and interdisciplinary cases.
- Knowledge and experience in growth modification and interceptive orthodontics.
- Ability to interpret orthodontic records, including OPG, lateral cephalometric radiographs, photographs, digital scans and study models.
- Experience in orthodontic retention protocols and long-term follow-up.
- Excellent clinical documentation and patient record-keeping in accordance with DHA requirements and clinic protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain treatment options, duration, expectations and costs to patients and parents.
- Professional, ethical, patient-focused and committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care.
- Fluent English communication is essential; additional languages would be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities
The Specialist Orthodontist will be responsible for providing comprehensive orthodontic care from initial consultation through treatment completion and retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed orthodontic consultations and clinical examinations.
- Diagnosing orthodontic and dentofacial conditions and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing fixed orthodontic treatment using appropriate bracket and wire systems.
- Managing interceptive and growth-modification treatments where clinically indicated.
- Reviewing radiographs, cephalometric analyses, digital scans, photographs and other diagnostic records.
- Monitoring treatment progress and making appropriate clinical modifications throughout treatment.
- Managing retainers and post-treatment follow-up.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary cases with general dentists, pediatric dentists, prosthodontists and other specialists when required.
- Maintaining complete and accurate clinical documentation, informed consent and treatment records.
- Following all DHA regulations, infection-control requirements, patient-safety standards and clinic policies.
- Providing patients and parents with clear explanations regarding treatment objectives, alternatives, expected duration, compliance requirements and retention.
- Building strong patient relationships and maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Participating in clinical discussions, internal referrals and continuous professional development.
- Contributing positively to the clinic team and maintaining professional communication with doctors, nurses, reception and management.
Salary & Commission
The successful candidate will receive a fixed monthly salary together with an additional commission/incentive component. The commission will be linked to the candidate’s clinical performance and revenue generation, providing the opportunity for additional earnings over and above the monthly salary.
The detailed salary and commission structure will be discussed with shortlisted candidates during the interview and will depend on experience, qualifications and clinical expertise.
Preferred Candidate
We are particularly interested in an orthodontist who is clinically confident, ethical, patient-oriented and comfortable managing both conventional orthodontic and clear-aligner cases independently. The candidate should have good case-presentation and communication skills and be interested in developing a stable, long-term orthodontic practice within the clinic.
Immediate availability and UAE clinical experience will be considered an advantage.
