Stafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE.
About the Role
We are seeking a distinguished Consultant Neurosurgeon with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological and spinal conditions. The successful candidate will provide advanced neurosurgical care, utilizing evidence-based practices and modern surgical techniques within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
The successful candidate will join a progressive healthcare setting committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred neurosurgical services.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions
- Perform complex cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
- Manage brain tumours, vascular disorders, trauma, and degenerative spinal conditions
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practice
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support medical education, teaching, and departmental development
Qualifications
- Board certification in Neurosurgery
- Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Neurosurgery
- Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAP
Required Skills
- Comprehensive experience in Neurosurgery
- Expertise in cranial and spinal surgery
- Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience managing complex neurosurgical cases
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and quality improvement
