Project Engineer

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY CANDIDATES WITH INTERIOR FIT OUT COMPANY EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

We are seeking an experienced fit out Site Engineer with strong leadership skills to join our team. As a Fit Out engineer you will play a key role in the execution of our Projects. The candidate should have experience in delivering high-end fit out projects within the UAE.

Experience:

Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in interior fit-out projects or a related construction field.

Role Responsibilities:

Technical: Strong understanding of Industry best practices, construction principles, building codes and regulations related to interior fit-out projects. Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, or other Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools is a plus.

Engineering: Understanding drawings and plans and implementing the works in accordance with the design. Ability to work with both project consultants and subcontractors to provide a workable design.

Resource Management: Ability to plan, supervise and monitor the site labor and subcontractors to achieve project timelines.

Reporting: Ability to carry out site inspections to ensure quality and standards are maintained. Maintain accurate project records and prepare project reports as required.

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure designs and construction meet specifications and quality standards.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve any challenges that arise during fit-out projects by providing technical solutions.

Project Management: Ability to manage fit-out projects from start to finish, including project planning, stakeholder coordination, resource management, and ensuring timely delivery.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills to lead teams of contractors and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Commercial Management: Assist in providing cost estimates and budget management to ensure projects stay within budgets.

Health and Safety: Understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance on construction sites.

Collaboration: Willingness to collaborate with professionals like architects, interior designers, and contractors to achieve project objectives

Requirements:

· 3-5 years’ experience in either Residential or commercial fit out, preferably both

· A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is required.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM is beneficial

· Good knowledge of engineering, construction & fit out trades including, gypsum, joinery, tiling, civils, structural and MEP.

· Available to join the team immediately

· Valid UAE Driving license

Pay: From AED8,500.00 per month
