Head of Joinery Detailing - Russian Speaker

Geometry Home Furniture Manufacturing LLC is looking for an experienced Head of Joinery Detailing – Russian Speaker to lead our joinery detailing team and oversee the preparation of technical and production drawings for custom furniture and joinery projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of joinery construction, experience managing a detailing team, and the ability to communicate effectively in Russian and English. The role requires close coordination with project managers, designers, production teams, and installation teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and ready for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the joinery detailing team
• Review and approve shop drawings, production drawings, and technical details
• Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for manufacturing and installation
• Develop and review plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
• Ensure correct material, hardware, fixing, and construction details are included
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, production, procurement, and site teams
• Review approved designs and identify technical or construction issues before production
• Provide technical solutions for complex joinery and furniture details
• Manage drawing schedules, revisions, and approvals
• Provide technical support to production and installation teams
• Establish consistent detailing standards and drawing procedures
• Monitor the team's workload and ensure drawings are completed within project deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience in joinery detailing, furniture detailing, or technical drafting
• Previous experience leading or supervising a detailing team
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Excellent knowledge of joinery construction, furniture manufacturing, materials, hardware, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of production requirements and manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills
• Fluent Russian and English communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in high-end custom furniture and joinery projects
• Knowledge of Bazis is an added advantage
• Knowledge of SketchUp or other relevant software
• UAE experience in joinery or furniture manufacturing
• Experience working with Russian-speaking clients, designers, or project teams
