Chief Accountant

A leading company in the restaurant and café industry is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join our team in Madinah.

We are seeking a qualified accounting professional with strong experience in restaurants, cafés, or the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations.
• Supervise the accounting team and ensure accurate and timely financial records.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
• Review sales, expenses, purchases, and branch financial transactions.
• Monitor branch revenues and ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation.
• Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable Saudi regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide the required financial documents.
• Monitor VAT transactions and support VAT filing requirements.
• Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide management with accurate financial information and reports to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the restaurant, café, hospitality, or F&B industry.
• Previous experience as a Chief Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Accounting Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of VAT and accounting requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience managing accounting operations for multiple branches is highly preferred.
