Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the installation of mechanical systems in skyrise buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into building designs effectively.
• Perform detailed calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment for mechanical installations.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the proper functioning and safety of mechanical systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction firm as a Mechanical Engineer within the UAE, with a focus on high-rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, with expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards related to mechanical systems in high-rise construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
