Job description

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our Construction Supervision team, supporting the delivery of high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will ensure that architectural works are executed in accordance with the contract documents, project specifications, applicable codes, and the approved design intent while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.

Working closely with the Senior Architect and multidisciplinary supervision team, the Architect will monitor construction activities, review contractor submissions, inspect completed works, and facilitate the successful delivery of architectural packages from commencement through to handover.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise architectural works on site to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and approved shop drawings.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of workmanship, materials, finishes, and installation methods.

  • Review and provide technical comments on shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, method statements, and requests for information (RFIs).

  • Monitor construction progress and identify potential quality or technical issues, providing practical recommendations to maintain project delivery.

  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, interior design, landscape, and specialist subcontractors to resolve interface issues.

  • Witness inspections and testing of architectural elements, ensuring compliance with project quality plans and inspection test plans

  • Prepare site observation reports, non-conformance reports, snagging lists, and monitor close-out of outstanding issues.

  • Verify completed works for interim payment applications and provide recommendations to the Resident Engineer.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture 

  • Minimum 7–12 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to construction supervision of high-rise / residential building projects.

  • UAE or GCC construction supervision experience is highly preferred.
