Data Center Engineering Operations Technician

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Deliver best practice systems and problem resolution for data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling systems, etc.).
• Conduct frequent site interventions and critical switching activities.
• Troubleshoot and fix infrastructure issues in a hands-on capacity.
• Ensure the highest standards for safety and promote a world-class safety culture.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts through standardization of procedures and policies.
• Participate in the successful delivery of build-out and retrofit of Data Center infrastructure.

What You'll Need

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.
• Ability to work on a 24x7 schedule (where applicable).
• Capability to work at heights and from ladders, and perform physical tasks.
• Experience in data center engineering (preferred).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls) (preferred).
