Engineering Technician

The Role

• Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure for Data Centers.
• Ensure implementation of safety procedures and maintain highest safety standards.
• Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Supervise contractors to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies.
• Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and assist in recruiting efforts.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.
• Operational experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, including UPSs, Switchgear, ATSs, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFDs, and Transformers.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Strong willingness to learn new processes and adapt to rapidly changing operational scenarios.
• Ability to work shifts (morning, late, and night) and be on-call for emergencies.
