Engineering Specialist

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Maintain critical physical infrastructure supporting Amazon Web Services
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
• Perform limited maintenance, repair, and audit tasks
• Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment
• Supervise contractors performing servicing or preventive maintenance

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of critical infrastructure maintenance or operation experience in a mission-critical environment
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in data center engineering (preferred)
• Ability to perform physical tasks without becoming overly tired (preferred)
