About the role

HG International is looking for a commercially strong Amazon leader to accelerate our Amazon business across Europe.

The successful candidate will be confident operating across Amazon 1P/Vendor Central and capable of supporting the development and scaling of 3P marketplace models. Acting as the commercial owner of the Amazon business, you will define and execute the growth strategy across all key levers, including pricing, promotions, annual negotiations, trade terms, profitability, assortment, availability, forecasting and Joint Business Planning. You will own Amazon forecasting, performance analysis and business steering, translating data and insights into clear commercial actions and recommendations.

Working closely with EU Country Managers, Supply Chain, Finance and an eCommerce Sales Assistant, you will drive execution, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment behind ambitious growth targets.

For media and digital shelf acceleration, you will partner with the Senior Performance Marketing Manager and Amazon agency to develop and optimise search, traffic and advertising strategies that support the broader commercial objectives of the Amazon business. You will report to the Online Growth & Content Director.

What you will do

In this role you will:

Own Amazon commercial performance and P&L across multiple European markets

Lead Amazon growth initiatives across both 1P (Vendor Central) and selected 3P marketplace models

Develop and execute Joint Business Plans and lead annual commercial negotiations with Amazon

Define pricing, promotional, assortment, and profitability strategies across markets

Drive forecasting, business planning, and availability together with Supply Chain and Finance

Monitor performance, identify opportunities and risks, and translate insights into clear commercial actions

Partner with Country Managers, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to deliver sustainable growth

Align media investment, content, search visibility, and commercial objectives together with the Senior Performance Marketing Manager and external Amazon partners

Protect profitability, pricing discipline, and Buy Box integrity across European markets

Provide clear performance updates, recommendations, and business insights to senior leadership

Requirements: Job requirements:

8+ years of experience in e-commerce, Amazon account management, commercial management or online sales

Prior Amazon management experience is mandatory, ideally with Vendor Central / 1P and exposure to 3P marketplace models.

Proven experience owning or leading Amazon P&L performance, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting and commercial planning

Strong track record leading Amazon negotiations, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), AVN discussions, pricing strategy, promotions and trade investment management

Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, home care, DIY, cleaning, household or similar consumer-focused categories preferred.

Commercially sharp, P&L-driven and comfortable challenging assumptions.

Strong with data, reporting and performance insight.

Strategic but hands-on, with the ability to move from plan to execution quickly.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Able to connect media, assortment, pricing, promotions, availability and profitability into one growth plan.

Experience working with forecasting, demand planning and S&OP processes is highly desirable

A valid EU work permit or EU citizenship is required for this position

What’s in it for you

An annual salary between €70.000 and €90.000 (including holiday allowance), depending on your experience.

An annual (on-target) bonus of 25% of your gross annual salary.
