Job description

We are seeking a Certification Engineer responsible for ensuring electrical and electronic products comply with global regulations, standards, and certification requirements. The role includes managing certifications, coordinating with test labs and certification bodies, and supporting global product approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Certification & Compliance

Ensure compliance with global safety, EMC, RF, and grid standards

Manage product certification, testing, and documentation

Coordinate with labs, certification bodies, and internal teams

Review technical files, BOMs, schematics, and compliance reports

Assess product changes for certification impact

Regulations

Ensure compliance with key regulations such as:

LVD 2014/35/EU

RED 2014/53/EU

EMC 2014/30/EU

EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542

FCC Part 15

ISED RSS Series

Grid Codes (EU, UK, US, AU,SA markets)

Ensure proper labelling and regulatory marking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Requirements: Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field

Experience:

2-5 years in product certification or regulatory compliance (electrical/electronic products preferred)
