Freelance Construction Manager – Data Centre Project

Contract: Freelance / Long-Term Contract

Rate: Excellent Day Rate

AJ Group is partnering with a leading contractor to recruit an experienced Construction Manager for a major mission-critical Data Centre project.

This is an opportunity to join a high-profile development and lead the successful delivery of one of the industry's most advanced construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with MEP Project Managers, Design Teams, and Architectural professionals to ensure seamless integration of complex building systems.
• Drive a strong Health & Safety culture, maintaining full compliance across all site operations.
• Manage specialist subcontractors, monitor performance, and proactively resolve on-site issues.
• Report project progress, maintain accurate site documentation, and provide regular updates to senior management.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Site Manager on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Valid site certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent.
• Available to work on a freelance/contract basis.
