IT Support Engineer

Zapegg Tax Consultant is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our technology team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional who can provide reliable technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems that support the company’s daily business activities. The successful candidate will help maintain a secure and efficient IT environment while delivering excellent user support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimize operational downtime.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system security and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, email systems, passwords, and access permissions.
• Perform routine software updates, system backups, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset inventories and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment maintenance and technical support when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, antivirus software, and backup solutions.
• Experience with network devices, printers, and office IT infrastructure.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
