Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager - Corporate to join us. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving sales strategies and revenue growth across multiple properties in the region.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet regional business goals and revenue targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the customer base.

  • Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of competitors and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Lead, motivate, and drive corporate groups and MICE opportunities to the hotel.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and business partners.

  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value sales deals.

  • Maintain excellent customer service levels and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Explore and develop new sales channels and partnerships.

  • Drive market penetration and increase brand visibility in key territories.

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build business relationships.

  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics (KPIs) to senior management.

  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and business updates.

  • Analyze sales data to improve strategies, target key sectors, and optimize performance.

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.

  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to improve product offerings.

  • Prepare and manage the sales budget for the region.

  • Ensure cost-effective sales operations and adherence to the financial guidelines.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality or related industry

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in a multi-property or regional capacity

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in luxury market segments

  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, particularly in the Middle East region

  • Expertise in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sales

  • Exceptional strategic planning and revenue management skills

  • Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams

  • Advanced negotiation and client relationship management skills

  • Proficiency in market analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient in CRM software and other relevant sales tools

  • Ability to travel frequently within the cluster region

  • Fluency in English; additional languages beneficial

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in sales management.

  • Understanding of key corporate and MICE market dynamics and business environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.

  • Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus but not essential)

  • Willingness to travel frequently as required.
