Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer – MEP with strong site execution experience in mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related MEP works.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, proactive, and capable of handling daily site activities, subcontractor coordination, inspections, material requirements, and progress follow-ups as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise mechanical MEP works at site, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related systems.

Review approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and method statements before execution.

Ensure mechanical works are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, consultant comments, and authority requirements.

Coordinate with Project Manager, MEP Manager, QA/QC Engineer, Planning Engineer, Document Controller, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule and project priorities.

Prepare daily site updates, manpower requirements, material requirements, and progress reports.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely material delivery and site execution.

Raise RFIs, technical clarifications, and site requirements whenever required.

Support testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover of mechanical systems.

Attend site meetings and inspections with consultants, clients, and main contractors.

Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and safe working practices.

Identify site issues and provide practical solutions to avoid delays.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 4–6 years of UAE/GCC experience in MEP construction projects.

Strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.

Experience in commercial, industrial, warehouse, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.

Good knowledge of UAE authority requirements, consultant inspections, and MEP site procedures.

Ability to read and understand MEP drawings, coordination drawings, and project specifications.

Strong coordination, communication, and site management skills.

Must be proactive, responsible, and capable of handling site pressure.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with strong MEP site execution experience in Abu Dhabi projects will be given priority.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
