Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and extensive experience in the UAE construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading construction projects from planning through successful completion across residential, commercial, and fit-out sectors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management capabilities, with comprehensive knowledge of the MEPS System, UAE authority approval processes, and construction regulations. The role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all construction activities from project commencement through final handover.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor project execution to ensure timely completion within the approved budget and quality standards.
  • Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers, and government authorities to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare, review, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar planning software.
  • Prepare and review Schedule of Rates (SOR), project estimates, budgets, and cost reports.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, company procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and delays, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and monitor material deliveries to support project schedules.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and promote a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, project close-out, and final handover activities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Utilize and coordinate the MEPS System for project approvals, submissions, inspections, and authority coordination, ensuring compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in construction management within the UAE.
  • Strong experience managing residential, commercial, and fit-out projects.
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with the MEPS System and UAE authority approval processes.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority requirements, including ADM, DMT, Civil Defense, and other relevant authorities.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Schedule of Rates (SOR).
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
  • Preferred Candidates is Arabic
