Telco Cloud Program Manager

Position Objective:

The Telco cloud Program Manager will provide full support to the Section Manager in delivering Telco cloud projects, vendor management, stockholder management, quality control and ensure KPI and BVR delivery. Also, will be responsible for the end-to-end program control, supporting of project managers in their project delivery related to the Telco cloud projects.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Control Telco cloud program delivery pipeline.
• Ensure that projects are completed according to a specification, within an established time frame and budget. Support corresponding project managers to archive their targets.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for Telco cloud projects.
• Provide guidelines for the PM related to the stakeholder management, project reporting and project controls.
• Set objectives and priorities for the execution of project activities according the management and external stockholder priorities.
• Set the guidelines for PM related to the risk management, external dependencies and road blockers.
• Monitor program progress and proactively track bottlenecks and related issues to ensure that project schedules and key milestones are satisfactorily met. Identify the project reporting guidelines.
• Report to management risks and issues impacting the program delivery plan, provide solutions to mitigate those risks and issues.
• Coordinate program activities across all stakeholders with all involved departments and sections to ensure well-ordered, end-to-end execution of all project tasks. Support PM with stockholder identification and stockholder management.
• Supervise the completed work results of program and compare with provided guidelines and project plans.
• Ensure that program is implemented according stc standards and processes. Continues development of processes improvement.
• Establish mechanism to track, review and identify issues related to the program, and to define actions needed to resolve project blocking issues.
• Hold regular program progress review and coordination meetings with key project team members, with Vendors, Contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reviews of changing project requirements, organization and resource needs, and provide recommendations for changes accordingly.
• Define and ensure the Responsibility Matrix is followed by all stakeholders.

Hold regular lessor learn meetings and retrospective discussions.
* Qualifications & Experience:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Telecommunication.
• Minimum 15 years telecommunication industry experience with at least 5 years on management position(s) leading large scale VAS and OSS projects.
• 5+ years managing Engineering and/or Consultancy teams from requirements definition to final design deliverable.
• Must have vast exposure on Cloud and core project execution management from project planning\budget\quality point of view, drive project execution: track project activities, monitor & handle changes, conflicts & escalations.
• Proven knowledge of broad spectrum of IT and Telecommunication technologies like SDN Open stack, routers, Firewalls and IP technologies.
• Strong demonstrated experience within the Cloud and core.
• Valid Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP / Prince 2), with extensive knowledge of PM methodologies and professional experience in program/projects management and delivery
• Essential skills : Team work, Communication skills, knowledge transfer capability, Cross-functional communications skills and Team building experience
• Good knowledge of executive management reporting, presentations and dashboards concepts with good analytical skills.
• High level presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal English communications skills, Arabic would be an added advantage.
