SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Marketing Manager is responsible to lead and managing the marketing function by initiating, planning, implementing, and evaluating local marketing strategies in line with corporate and regional guidelines to maintain the company's image, reputation and to increase Jotun brand awareness and sales. The majority of the activities are typically dedicated to one segment.
This position is based at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will report to the Decorative Segment Director.
Responsibilities:
Developing, establishing, and supporting the implementation of the regional Segment Marketing strategy in the local market to deliver on both growth and profitability targets in line with the overall segment strategy along with managing marketing activities to promote Jotun with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Close cooperation with the Head of Sales, develop and implement marketing strategies, action plans, budgets, and resources by understanding market needs and practices to secure strong brand and product positioning in the local market of Saudi Arabia.
Develop and implement proper pricing and product management strategies in cooperation with the Head of Sales by analyzing market information about customers and competitors to increase market share over the long run while meeting profit maximization objectives and customer satisfaction.
Manage marketing budgets to ensure effective and efficient implementation of marketing activities, including advertising, campaigns, conducting market research, overseeing product development and design, New product launches, and other activities needed to drive profitable sales growth in Saudi Arabia along with enhance Jotun’s brand image and increase market share by managing product assortment, promotions, seminars, exhibitions, and other media content.
Manage and lead the marketing team by setting clear targets and framework, coaching and supporting team members to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the function.
Establish close contact with regional Marketing and R&D regarding innovation and product development programs and provide marketing inputs and provide Support to the Sales department by marketing activities/services and ensure that the distribution network aligns with the Multicolor concept and the Performance Dealers and Distributers concept.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing is preferable.

Over 8 years of relevant experience in a leading Marketing Function.

Fluency in English and Arabic - both verbally and written – is preferred.
