Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all civil construction activities related to substation projects.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor project execution in accordance with approved schedules and project requirements.
  • Supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and construction teams.
  • Ensure construction activities are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project standards.
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
  • Review construction methodologies and resolve technical and site-related issues.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and utility authorities on construction and project execution matters.
  • Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with quality requirements, safety regulations, and company procedures.
  • Review and verify work completed for progress reporting and project documentation.
  • Support project closeout activities, testing, commissioning readiness, and handover requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. MOHESR Equivalency mandatory.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of civil construction experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial role overseeing infrastructure or utility projects.
  • Experience in electrical substation projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of foundations, cable trenches, retaining structures, control buildings, roadworks, drainage systems, and associated civil infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to manage site execution teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, resource planning, and construction management principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UAE experience in utility or substation projects.
  • Experience working with TAQA, ADDC, TRANSCO, AADC, DEWA, or similar utility authorities.
  • Familiarity with EPC project execution environments.

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED24,000.00 per month
