Electrical Engineer – Transmission (UG / OHTL / Substation)

Position Objective:

Ensure proper execution of electrical works across transmission projects Maintain compliance with SEC standards and specifications Strengthen site supervision and monitoring of UG/OHTL activities Support timely delivery of transmission projects through effective coordination Improve quality control and documentation accuracy for electrical works Ensure adherence to safety and loss prevention requirements Support efficient execution of transmission construction activities

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Supervise electrical construction activities related to underground cables, overhead transmission lines, and substations

• Monitor and evaluate project progress against approved schedules

• Review design drawings, materials, and technical submittals

• Review and certify as-built drawings and test record books

• Coordinate and manage outage requirements in line with project needs

• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications

• Establish and support project control procedures and work scheduling activities

• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation activities

• Ensure compliance with SEC standards, safety regulations, and loss prevention requirements

• Prepare progress reports and coordinate with project stakeholders on execution activities Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in UG/OHTL and substation projects

• Experience in EHV/HV transmission projects required

• Experience working under SEC standards and specifications preferred

• Strong knowledge of transmission construction and site execution activities

• Experience in project monitoring, supervision, and coordination
