Job description
Position ObjectiveResponsible for the management and coordination of regionally assigned OSP projects, ensuring the implementation of fundamental planning concepts, design standards, implementation quality, and overall training requirements across all project activities.
Job Description & Responsibilities* Manage vendors and contractors for OSP scope delivery within the assigned region.
- Plan and manage site quality inspections and supervision activities.
- Ensure the regional project plan is synchronized, properly scheduled, aligned, and communicated with HQ.
- Present and communicate issued OSP guidelines to contractors and vendors.
- Plan and coordinate all site inspections, visits, and supervision activities with STC local teams in a joint and integrated manner.
- Ensure inspection and supervision tasks are carried out based on approved processes and communicated guidelines.
- Report quality gaps, knowledge deficiencies, training requirements, and overall improvement areas.
- In accordance with the overall training plan, provide advice, training, and knowledge transfer to STC regional teams.
- Assist the Task Force Head in preparing OSP assessment documentation related to all required QC stages.
- Audit and assess the performance of OSP contractors within the region and communicate non-compliance issues to HQ and STC management.
- Ensure project reporting is completed based on approved templates and within agreed timelines.
- In collaboration with DQ, establish mechanisms to track, review, and clarify project issues, identify actions required to resolve implementation blocking issues, and support the removal of project roadblocks.
- Hold regular project progress review and coordination meetings with OSP vendors and contractors.
- Monitor project execution quality and ensure compliance with approved standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with all project stakeholders to maintain project schedules and quality objectives.
Qualifications & Experience* Minimum of 8–12 years of telecommunications experience, including at least 4 years in a responsible management position handling large-scale projects or departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Strong experience in OSP deployment management and supervision for large-scale telecom projects.
- Experience in network planning and design activities.
- Experience in FTTx network deployment will be considered an advantage.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors, contractors, and stakeholders across regional operations.
