Position Objective

A seasoned IT Project Manager with a proven track record in driving digital transformation initiatives and establishing robust project management frameworks within large-scale program environments. Skilled in aligning cross-functional teams, defining project roadmaps, and embedding governance structures that ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of Digitisation and Technology project management guidelines and governance framework, and ensure their continuous update.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management Office Directorate to effectively communicate project management tools and forms, and support the delivery of training sessions when needed.
  • Develop a prioritisation list of projects based on pre-set criteria and assessment of the project scope of work.
  • Support vendor selection as needed, and participate in agreeing to contractual terms and conditions in coordination with the relevant departments, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Plan assigned projects, including sequencing of activities, budget estimation, timeline, and communication schedule.
  • Support project risk assessments and develop mitigation plans before project launch.
  • Develop a detailed schedule and project charter, and communicate it to relevant stakeholders to gather their comments and recommendations.
  • Develop a project roadmap and plan, ensuring communication across all project teams.
  • Maintain a log of all dependencies and constraints, including responsible stakeholders and any pertinent information, to facilitate work tracking.
  • Facilitate project execution and evaluate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies to ensure project success, proactively proposing preventive actions.
  • Analyse all arising issues and recommend corrective actions, ensuring proper reporting for reference purposes.
  • Monitor assigned projects to ensure alignment, on-time delivery, and successful completion against set KPIs.
  • Maintain relationships and communication with consultants and vendors to ensure the most appropriate and cost-efficient equipment, tools, methods, and services are utilised.
  • Develop accurate and timely progress reports for assigned projects in accordance with reporting guidelines, to provide updates and facilitate decision-making at the senior management level.
  • Ensure that all assigned project documents are properly coded, filed, and maintained for future reference.
  • Track the financial aspects of assigned projects and ensure completion within the approved budget and timeline.
  • Evaluate the performance of project consultants and vendors against agreed terms and conditions.
  • Analyse project KPI results, budget expenditure, resource utilisation ratios, and provide recommendations to improve performance on future projects.
  • Confirm project closure and prepare the certificate of completion.
  • Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, taking into account leading practices, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
  • Promote adherence to relevant policies, processes, and operating procedures across the team.
  • Adhere to risk management rules and regulations in the delivery of one's own work to ensure compliance at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of the full project management lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closure.
  • Proven experience in delivering multiple concurrent projects within a program environment.
  • Proven experience in client and stakeholder management.
