Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the Project Management function within our Operations department. This role reports to the Project Manager and is part of our Operational Excellence division.
About The Role:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the successful planning, execution, and delivery of customer and capital operational projects across the organization. You will serve as a key interface between customers and cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, within scope, time, and budget, while aligning with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned projects from PO receipt to close-out, including scheduling, execution, monitoring, and reporting
- Conduct project kick-off meetings and facilitate alignment between internal departments
- Monitor project schedules and deliverables to ensure timely progress per contractual commitments
- Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications for compliance with customer requirements
- Coordinate procurement activities, material status, and delivery schedules
- Manage project scope changes and prepare variation orders and contractual change requests
- Resolve technical and project-related issues through cross-functional collaboration
- Facilitate project status review meetings and maintain progress records
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure financial tracking of project costs
- Address customer feedback promptly and document lessons learned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a Project Engineer role within manufacturing or industrial settings
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools
- Effective English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated skills in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude
