Our client, a leading Abu Dhabi government entity , is looking for a Data & AI Expert (Senior Specialist) to lead the development of advanced AI and data capabilities across major programs and projects.

🔹 What You’ll Do

• Build and ship production AI & Data solutions across enterprise platforms and project portfolios

• Develop GenAI/LLM applications, predictive analytics and data intelligence systems

• Design enterprise Data Platforms, Lakehouse/Warehouse and AI architectures

• Establish MLOps, DataOps, data governance and responsible AI standards

• Personally write and review production-grade Python & SQL code

• Lead technical due diligence and build-vs-buy decisions

• Translate business challenges into high-impact AI & Data initiatives

• Mentor and technically coach a team of Data Scientists, Engineers and Analysts

• Engage senior leadership and shape the organisation’s AI & Data roadmap

🔹 What We’re Looking For

✅ 8+ years in Data Engineering, Data Science or AI

✅ 3+ years leading technical teams or major programmes

✅ Recent hands-on production coding experience — candidates must have coded in the last 12 months

✅ Expert Python & SQL

✅ Strong enterprise Data Architecture experience

✅ Deep knowledge of ML, Deep Learning, NLP, GenAI & LLMs — RAG, fine-tuning, evaluation & AI agents

✅ Expert-level experience with Azure, AWS, GCP or OCI

✅ Strong MLOps/DataOps experience

✅ Data governance, cataloguing, lineage & quality frameworks

✅ Strong understanding of data security, privacy and responsible AI

✅ Fluent Arabic & English – mandatory

🎓 Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/PhD preferred
