Stakeholder Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Stakeholder Engineer to manage authority liaison, regulatory approvals, and inter-agency coordination for major infrastructure and transportation projects in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority processes, design codes, approval workflows , and proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and communication with relevant government authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage authority submissions, approvals, NOCs, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor authority approval processes and ensure timely submissions and responses.
• Review project requirements and guide design teams through authority approval stages.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary infrastructure and transportation design requirements.
• Identify potential approval issues and work proactively to resolve them.
• Maintain records of authority correspondence, submissions, comments, and approvals.
• Support project teams in ensuring compliance with applicable Abu Dhabi regulations, standards, and design codes.
• Liaise with internal technical teams to address authority comments and facilitate approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline .
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in stakeholder management, authority liaison, or regulatory approvals.
• Experience in UAE design consultancy or construction is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority processes, design codes, and approval workflows .
• Proven experience with major infrastructure and transportation projects .
• Strong ability to coordinate and guide multidisciplinary design and technical teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and authority submission procedures.
