Job Summary
The IT & E-commerce Specialist is responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure, business applications, websites, e-commerce platforms, cybersecurity, and digital technologies. The role ensures the smooth operation of all IT systems while driving online sales growth through effective management of digital platforms and customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Information Technology (IT)
- Manage all company IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, printers, POS systems, and networking equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to all departments.
- Maintain company email systems and user accounts.
- Monitor system performance and resolve IT issues promptly.
- Ensure regular data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain internet connectivity and network security.
- Manage CCTV, biometric attendance systems, and access control systems.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Maintain software licenses and IT asset inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
B. Cybersecurity
- Monitor and protect company systems against cyber threats.
- Implement antivirus and firewall protection.
- Perform regular security updates and system patching.
- Manage user access rights and permissions.
- Conduct periodic cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
C. Website Management
- Maintain and update company websites.
- Ensure website security and performance.
- Monitor website uptime.
- Coordinate website enhancements with developers.
- Improve website speed and user experience.
- Optimize websites for SEO.
D. E-commerce Management
- Manage all online sales platforms.
- Upload and maintain product information.
- Update pricing, promotions, and inventory.
- Coordinate with marketing for online campaigns.
- Monitor customer orders and online transactions.
- Ensure accurate product descriptions and images.
- Resolve customer issues related to online orders.
E. Digital Marketing Support
- Support SEO and SEM initiatives.
- Analyze website traffic using Google Analytics.
- Monitor conversion rates.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns.
- Support social media integrations with e-commerce platforms.
F. ERP & Business Systems
- Maintain ERP software and business applications.
- Coordinate with software vendors.
- Support users on ERP modules.
- Ensure accurate system data.
- Recommend process improvements through automation.
G. Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on:
- IT system performance
- Website traffic
- Online sales
- E-commerce KPIs
- System downtime
- Cybersecurity incidents
- IT support requests
- Digital marketing performance
E-commerce
- Online sales growth
- Website conversion rate
- Customer satisfaction
- Cart abandonment rate
- Website loading speed
- Order processing accuracy
Digital

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (preferred):
- Microsoft
- Cisco (CCNA)
- Google Analytics
- Google Ads
- Shopify/WooCommerce
- Cybersecurity certifications
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support and e-commerce management.
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage operations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of POS systems and ERP software.
- Experience managing websites and online marketplaces.

Working Conditions

Authority
The IT & E-commerce Specialist is authorized to:
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
- Coordinate with approved IT vendors.
- Recommend IT improvements.
- Manage website and e-commerce content.
- Escalate cybersecurity risks to management.
- Recommend technology investments for operational efficiency.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,090.09 per month
Work Location: In person
