Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Customs & Clearance Manager to lead and oversee customs clearance activities for import and export operations. The role will be primarily responsible for managing customs clearance, duty exemptions, customs duty refunds, and government/industrial subsidy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee import customs clearance activities for spare parts, equipment, raw materials, and other shipments, including invoice review and HS Code classification.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, Saudi Customs, SFDA, and other government authorities to ensure timely and compliant shipment clearance.
  • Monitor inbound shipments and follow up on customs clearance to ensure timely delivery to the warehouse.
  • Review and validate customs clearance documents and invoices before submission to the Finance Department.
  • Manage customs duty exemption applications , including preparing required data and documentation, submitting applications, and following up with the relevant authorities until approval.
  • Handle and follow up on government and industrial subsidy/support programs , including preparing required documentation and coordinating with banks, government entities, and legal advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade policies, and internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure seamless and compliant supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant hands-on experience in customs clearance and import/export operations.
  • Proven experience working with Saudi Customs, SFDA, customs brokers, and other relevant government authorities.
  • Experience in preparing, submitting, and following up on customs exemption, duty refund, and subsidy applications .
