The position

As a Technical Project Manager, you will work at the intersection of technology, engineering, research and business, collaborating with engineers, project leaders, universities, industry partners and governmental organisations. This is a role where you support the delivery of challenging Research & Technology (R&T) projects.

• Manage project planning, milestones, deliverables, budgets and risks
• Support Project Leaders in the execution of technical R&T projects
• Translate technical developments into clear actions, reports and deliverables
• Monitor project budgets, contracts and financial reporting
• Coordinate contractual and reporting obligations for publicly funded projects
• Manage internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain project documentation, KPIs, risk registers and progress reports
• Facilitate project meetings and workshops using Agile, Scrum, Lean or Design Thinking approaches where appropriate
• Support proposals for national and EU-funded R&T projects
• Contribute to improving project management processes and governance

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant Project Management experience
• Experience working in a technical, engineering, R&D or innovation environment
• Experience with budgets and contracts
• Ability to understand technical concepts and work effectively with engineers
• Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent organisational skills
• Excellent command of English

Nice to have

• Experience with publicly funded or EU-funded projects
• Experience with research consortia or public-private partnerships
• Aerospace, high-tech, energy transition or another complex technical environment
• SAP experience. Lean, Agile or Scrum knowledge
• PMP, IPMA or Scrum certification
