Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Engineering Consultant / Solution Lead

Are you passionate about Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and digital transformation? As a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Engineering Consultant / Solution Lead, you will work with clients to transform their R&D, Engineering, and New Product Development (NPD) capabilities. You will combine strategic consulting with hands-on solution delivery, guiding clients from ideation and process design through implementation and deployment of leading PLM and Engineering platforms.

️ What you'll do

• Lead and support digital transformation initiatives within Engineering, Product Development, and R&D organizations.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and design end-to-end PLM and Engineering solutions.
• Define solution architectures, functional designs, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Work across the full project lifecycle, including strategy, design, build, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Advise clients on Engineering best practices including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), New Product Development (NPD), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Requirements Management, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Support proposal development, project estimations, solution planning, and stakeholder management activities.
• Stay at the forefront of industry innovation and inspire clients with the latest developments from leading PLM and Engineering software vendors.

What we're looking for

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Technology, Product Development, or a related field.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience delivering PLM, Engineering, or Digital Transformation projects.
• Experience working with Engineering, R&D, Product Development, or New Product Development (NPD) processes.
• Experience in roles such as Consultant, Delivery Lead, Solution Architect, Technical SME, Integration Lead, Release Manager, or Project Manager.

️ Skills

• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and Engineering processes.
• Experience with at least one leading PLM platform such as Siemens Teamcenter, SAP PLM, SAP IPD, Dassault ENOVIA, PTC Windchill, or Centric Software.
• Experience with solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

‍ Leadership

• Ability to engage stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing client expectations.
• Passion for innovation and driving meaningful business outcomes through technology.

Bonus points for

• Fluency in Dutch, spoken and written.
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience with Siemens solutions such as Teamcenter, NX, Mendix, Solid Edge, Polarion, or OpCenter.
• Experience with SAP PLM, SAP IPD, Recipe Development, or BOM Management.
• Experience with Centric Software PLM.
• Experience in industries such as Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, High-Tech, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, Healthcare, or Industrial Equipment.
• Experience with proposal development, commercial estimations, and project planning.
