Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive security architecture
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
• Monitor security events and respond to incidents
• Implement encryption and access control systems
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
• Train development teams on secure coding practices
• Manage security tooling and infrastructure

Requirements Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of encryption, authentication, and authorization
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP security services)
• Understanding of privacy regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in security tools and vulnerability assessment
• Knowledge of secure development lifecycle practices
• Incident response and forensics experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.)
• Experience with privacy-focused applications
• Knowledge of zero-trust security architecture
• Background in threat modeling and risk assessment
• Experience with security automation and DevSecOps
